Does anyone know the sizes of 88-91 Civic HB & '92 Prelude wiper arms?? Not the blades, but the actual arms. I need one for my Prelude and I have a couple of spare wiper arms from my 88-91 civic. Just wondering if they are interchangable. Please help.

I'm not sure but couldn't you just try it if you have spares? I mean it shouldn't be too difficult to tell by simply holding the civic one up to the prelude arm.
Could check part numbers too...

 

I hear you but the spares are in storage and before I go digging to find them, I wanted to see if the would fit or if I should just go to the junkyard for more if they don't.

 

if you go to a pepboys, you can get the part numbers for the same brand and compare the two. not too dificult. i would think you would get a smaller sweep though, i had a 89 civic hatchback and the arms seem like they would be smaller.

 

Yea, i was wondering the same thing. My passanger side wiper arm just stripped the little gear on the bolt from the wiper motor. Anyway I can replace the bolt or gear or will I have to replace the whole assemply? Damn snow storms.

 

i hate the snow, when i drove from cali to ny, i forgot i had water in the reservoir, no way to unfreeze it. it sucked having to pull over all the time to wipe the salt off the windsheild
