the Honda educated buyer is prob thinking he can blow that motor up and get his insurance company to change the motor out with a original C5.

It's worth about 6-8k. Besides the motor/tranny, the rest looks ok.. would want to look in person before buying though.

i think $8K is a good price for that car.. it look really clean. only flaw im guessing is the motor. but that is about $5K at the most... so it would be a fair price for a theft recovery R.

i think it was the r motor that made the 273whp on nitrious.. where is it now? lol damn its clean if it was a bit cheaper i would of brought it since i'm building a 2.0 b18c1 that would of been a great chassis for it instead of my teg..

looks like the previous owner blew up the previous motor. then bought a pre obd
b16 longblock and swapped it in. *1989 that motor isn't even emissions legal.

really depends... I found my GSR on ebay, but it was only a 30 minute drive away and at a dealership so I went and checked it out and everything turned out great

No ****! Why the hell would someone buy a car, especially a sports car , without seeing and driving it first!

This guy is no better than the ******** stealing peoples Type R's in the middle of the night out from honest, hardworking people like outselves. Misrepresentation of a used car for greater monetary gain= theft.

my theory is that the original owner traded it into a dealership or something and swapped in the b16 and sold or kept the b18c5, since chances are the dealership wouldnt be able to tell the difference anyways.
