ls valve question

all you guys who run b18a i was curious what you adjust your valves to? both intake and exhaust .. the chiltons is so broad.. i wanted to be more precise. what all works best for you?

Intake Valves- 0.003- 0.005 in
Exhaust Valves0.006- 0.008 in
Valve Adjusting Locknut torque to 18 FT. LBS.

When I had a LS motor I used stock specs.

0.006~0.007"
<U>Exhaust</U>
0.007~0.008"

have you guys tried any other variations to find that this measurment works best?

Sorry man, I've always stayed within those specs, so I can't tell you if varying it helps performance.
