Default Pennzoil Synchromesh

Anybody seen this stuff at AutoZone or other parts stores? I saw some at AutoZone today, it says it is made for GM transmissions that call for the GM Synchromesh fluid, and it's only $5/qt. regular price. I wonder how it compares to OEM GM stuff.

if it's not equal to the friction modified, then it's not as good.
there's gm syncromesh, and gm syncromesh friction modified.
friction modified owns. my friend's third gear grind completely disappeared after using it.

the bottle lists it as compatible with 2 different GM part numbers, I'm guessing both regular and friction modified, but I dunno....

I'm personally already running GM friction modified, which I got for $6/qt.

Ouch! Sounds like you're getting gouched. I pay $4 something with no discount at the local honda dealer.

My friend works at the nation's largest Chevy dealer outside Memphis TN, he got it for me at his cost... I even put the stuff in using the lifts in their service bay, man it's nice to work on the car using a lift.
