How much faster is a stick prelude from a automatic prelude??

 

Who knows? Probably half a second to 60 and a second or more in the 1/4 mile.

 

In general the Auto is about .5 seconds slower than the Stick to 60. Take in consideration if you drive stick like crap, then the auto is about the same. It's all about the driver in Manual Shifting, and all about the Brake Stance and how heavy your foot is in Auto (Zombie Transmission).

Hey SpeedFreek, were you at Speed Trials at Summit Point last Saturday?

 

Sure wasn't... although I really wanted to go. I'm pretty sure there were a lot of prelude guys there though. Some local people had invited me to go but I had some prior plans that I couldn't break. I'll be there for the Porsche Club race the 28th-30th though.

 

Actually there was only one 5th gen (black) and one 4th gen (red... Honda319dx/Corey's) Prelude there. There was a supprisingly fast 944S2 kicking my *** though... I thought that might have been you.

 

Nah, it wasn't me. Unfortuntely my 944 is still getting it's roof sewn back on after and encounter with the jaws of life. Those S2s are fast... as are race prepared NA 944s. You should see the 911 driver **** themselves because a 944 is passing them. It's all about turns 4-9 for us 944 drivers.

 

Forgot to say... I knew that Corey was supposed to be there and I bet the black 5th gen was a guy named Sanjay. He said he was going to go.

Yeah, Jefferson can be fun. There's an event this Saturday at the Jefferson Circut which I was thinking about going to. But alas, I am not... I have to go house shopping!

 

Yea, that was me in the 5th gen at the track on Saturday.. Had a blast, I used corey's extra carbotech panther plus pads and they did great! I'm definitly going back to the track, probably December for the speedtrial event at VIR..

 

Hells yeah! 3.3 miles, 19 turns... it's gonna be AMAZING.

 

in Honda's its more often a good full second slower to 60.
