I might be getting an 88 crx dx with jdm zc dohc motor for a good price

I am wondering if the rear suspenion (trailing arms i think there called and rear disc setup will work on the crx and if so what modifications are needed.

Also what is a good exhaust system for the crx

anything else I should know would be great to

CRX 90-91 Si rear disk with the e-brake cables work fine. also 92-01 integra rear disk with the e-brake cable will also work.

Exhaust, Please do a search you will find tons of stuff for it.

90-93 integra and 91 crx si are bolton for the rear disc trailing arms

greddy, hks, thermal r&d, custom

i own the greddy on my hatch and i love it but i really wish i had bought the hks for it's much more stock appearance. the thermal is ok and all stainless but i really don't like how it appears from the rear of the car-the tip looks goofy and the muffler appears to be the wrong size.

for a custom setup i would recomend the es oval from jdmhondaparts and a muffler shop resonator shortly after the cat...use the same size piping as the muffler inlet/outlet and rout it in the stock positions. this system looks pretty good and is more than affordable.

i have thermal, and its the best i think, cause when your cruzin on the freeway, its not loud, but when you get on it, it sounds mean, and then when vtec hits, its just a good ole sound.

You cant use the 88 or 89 CRX si ebrake cable since they have rear drum. Also you cant use ANY of the CRX ebrake cables on a Hatch since they will be too short.
