Default Feeler, FS: 1994 Civic EX

Looking for estimates on this car, or potential buyers..

This is a 1994 HondaCivic EX, 4 door, with automatic transmission. It was driven by a grandma for 9 years, and has only 52,3xx miles, 50k of which were also put on by grandma. This car has been garaged always, and I only run it on 93 octane gasoline. It is the d16z6 (if i remember right) vtec. There are no flaws about this car at all. This car has never been into a wreck, and there is no visible dents on the car. I have done a few cheap yet subtle modifications to the exterior. I have changed out the stock amber corners for clear ones, have gotten custom all red tailights, and removed all the pinstripes. I just put in a new battery, it has less than 10 miles on it. (I put it in 10minutes before I typed this out). The car has keyless entry, including a remote start system. You can warm/cool the car from up to 1000 feet away, and keep it protected with the alarm. If the car is so much as touched, the alarm will go off and the car will shutdown.

I have some pics that I can email to anyone who is interested. Just email me @ daworm@ix.netcom.com and I will send you the pictures and answer any questions you have about the car. So how much do you guys think I could get for this? Anything?

Specs for those who don't like to read essays:

- 52,xxx miles
- Automatic Tranny
- 18" Enkei RS6 wheels
- 215/35r18 Falken Ziex Tires (90% tread, only about 1000 easy miles on them)
- Cd player/MP3 player
- RockerFosgate Punch Speakers
- Power Moon Roof
- Power Locks
- Remote Start Alarm System (1000 feet)
- Power Windows
- Removed Intake Resonator (:lol
- Clear corners
- All red tail-lights
- 4 door

Just tell me your thoughts on how much you think I could get for it. It's almost like new, so I'm hoping to get a nice amount, as I doubt there are any civics this year with this low of miles on them. Thanks for your time.

I know I missed alot, but if you have any questions, etc email me at daworm@ix.netcom.com , or message me here, thanks.

daw0rm@hotmail.com is my MSN.

i say you ask around $6500 to $7000 or something close, but i may be lowballing. try kbb.com or edmunds and average that out and that is your price for private sale.

Do not trade this car at all...

The bluebook is 6700.

However, I have added the remotestart, worth 300, the rims, worth 1500, and the stereo worth 400. To me, that makes me think I might be able to pull off maybe like 7300 or so.. I dunno, I could be jumping the gun a bit.. .Thanks for your input.

/edit - btw, how do you like your lude? I'm looking at one right now for 8700, a 97.. I don't think the dealers know what they have, and it only has like 60k miles on it.. It's a sportshift, h22... not sure of the rest of the specs, just did a quick drive by and window check.

well, what are you looking to do with a lude?

autox, race, drive and look good or mod like crazy?

first think about ^ and then come back...because the auto tranny is good for one thing, driving around and not pushing it, because it tends to break down at a 50% of all drivers out there. It has good pickup and all, but it is not a race car, no way.

think about this as well, not many people will buy all, some may ask you to sell it with stock stuff, putting the value at the kbb price...so, with that said, you should give it a try at $6300 as the lowest to go and $7200 with everything.

Just a suggestion.

Cool, thanks. I won't be racing it, maybe the occasional highway honker or something, nothing major though. Mostly, I just want a nicer car. I'll probably do some exterior mods, but nothing to serious. I just know I can depend on a honda (in most cases) to work for a good amount of time, and if not, we have a good dealership right down the street. (My dad put 357,000 miles on his last accord)

Put it back to stock and part out with everything else. You will never get anything close to what you "think" those mods are worth if you keep them on the car. Trust me. People seeing that car with those mods are gonna stereotype the vehicle as being owned by some kid who probably beat on the thing.

Overall it looks like a very well maintained vehicle that would collect alot of interest if it was completely stock and thrown on Autotrader.com and your local newspaper/swap sheet.

Good luck with your sale....
