Anyone successfully install a hydro d16 tranny in a ef?
btw, i dont mind doing some work to get it to work right. I just have this perfectly good hydro tranny for my d16 and i'd rather not have to find a decent si cable tranny if i dont have to.

It can be done.
But nobody makes the mount kit. So either buy a welder or take the car to a shop where they can do the installation. One of the problems is that the hydro tranny does not have a front mount like the cable, so that will require some thinking.
I am in the same cituation, I have three perfectly good hydro trannies, but I don't want to get into doing the whole swap thing. It is actually cheaper and probably a better solution to buy a new set of synchros and bearings and rebuild yours.
