88 hatch door panels fit on 88 crx door ???

88-89 crx and hatch are interchangeable and 90-91 crx and hatch are interchangeable. since you are staying in your half of the generation you have no worries about fitment.

thread jack here. um i thought 88-91 door panels were pretty much the same. well anyways. does anyone know if some 88 civic si hatch panels will fit my 91 crx si? w/ some mods or not at all....?

actually your wrong on this one, 89-91 crxs had the seatbelts in the doors so the 89 hatch ones will not fit 89 crx doors but they will fit 88 crx doors.
89-91 crxs= seatbelts in doors
88 crx= seatbelt mounted on B pillar
88-89 hatch= seatbelt mounted on B pillar
90-91 hatch= seatbelts in doors

basically pointless cuz you would have to hack up the panels to get the seatbelts to fit right.

ok well ive got harnesses and took the seatbelts out. so besides from this theres no way the 88 hatch panels will fit my crx?

the 89 crx being a model year ahead of itself...forgot about that. my bad.
as for trying to fit ones that have the belt on the door into cars that have the belt on the bpillar...you can't. the length from the edge of the mirror cover to the abck sill of the window frame is different...the panel would never fit right.
