Default would p06 chip work in a chipped p28?

I have a 96 d16y7 with greddy turbo, and am trying to hook up uberdata. If I got a socketed/chipped p28 and burned a chip with the p06 bin, that would work, right? I also thought if I was going to resell, a chipped p28 is more attractive than a p06.

Side note: When "converting" to obd1 to use a p06 or p28, do I just use the conversion harness and the ecu? Or do I have to mess with a 3 wire to 2 wire IACV swap so my idle stays straight?

Thanks for the help.

someone will have to verify this, but I'm pretty sure you can. From what I understand, your ECU will have extra features built into it (vtec), but your code wont' be using it. But like I said, I'm not positive as I'm trying to get this answered too. I'm going to be coverting a P05 to P06 and using it for my accord.
