convert 90-91 to have 89 doors
I'd like to know if anybody has converted a 90/91 to have 89 style doors and seat belts on a hatchback or CRX.
What did it take to do it?

At one time I had a 90 si parts car that had a drivers 88-89 door on it. (this hatch was a total pos)
But as far as I got it to do was close the door and latch like it's supposed to.
What I did was beat the heck out of that top striker thing that's in the top of the door jams on 90-91 cars.
I don't know if 90-91 has seatbelt mounts still where 88-89 ones are.
So you might have to install harnesses or something, but the 88-89 doors do fit on 90-91 shells.
Good luck. But I'd keep the heavier doors if it's a daily driver. = Safer.
