Anybody knows what type of FOG-LIGHT bulbs will be using in a 2001 or 2002 Acura TL ?? 9005, H11 ??

99-01 don't have foglights they didn come with any you have to get aftermarket ones. Only JDM 99-01 TL's have bumpers MADE to fit stock foglights
02-03 TL's have Foglights b/c of the redesigned front end and headlights

 

so what type are the foglights ?? 9005, h11, ???

 

most likely h2 or h3. those are pretty much standard factory fog bulb sizes. you could get the factory fog lights from the dealer, expensive option. just as you can on all hondas and acuras.

9006 isn't a fog bulb, unless honda has completely changed the way they use fog bulbs. 9006 is an hid bulb. the older mercedes we have uses an H2 bulb, our newer mercedes and my integra use H3's in their factory housings. the japanese integra's use an H4H bulb. i would probably say your TL will use an H3.

you can always call the dealer and ask them, and if you need parts numbers for the factory fog lights, they'll have the number.

Do you even know wtf you're talking about? 9006 is NOT an HID bulb. I own the car and I know. Not to be rude but please stop spreading wrong info on here if you dont know.

 

oh i didn't even know there's the foglight in the mercedes.... i have a 1996 C.

 

The fogs in my '02 TLs are 9006's.

They are the standard low beam bulbs in all '95 - '01 Integras.

 

i guess i assumed. the fog bulbs in our 99 TL were H3. those were dealer installed accessory.
but, yes every other car with 9006 is a low-beam. not sure why i was thinking HID. oh well, it was an off-day.
but, don't worry...i don't mind rudeness. cause i really don't give a **** about you.

fogs have been standard on mercedes since the 1960's. rear fogs standard on US cars since mid 90's. maybe your's are missing. pull the headlight switch out (towards you). 1 click for front, 2 clicks for rear. easy to wire in the rear. everything is there, just need a new bulb holder. added it onto my 1988 190.

 

oh yeah i know what you are talking about. i found that foglight (one click toward myself) quite helpful in the dark !! but i don't think mine has the "2 click" though....
