Default Help: Valve Adjustment

Hey, I have a 93 VTEC lude. I want to do a valve adjustment, and my friend even has the right tool. We did one on his GSR awhile back. I was just wondering if there is anything different on the prelude to worry about. Also, a step by step process would be great. Oh and the clearances etc.....any help would be GREATLY appriciated, I need to get this done soon....THANKS!

Valve clearance (cold): IN 0.15-0.19
EX 0.17-0.21

btw you should get a Helms factory service manual. http://www.helminc.com
tells you everything

Oh, one thing he forgot to ask:

What is the firing order for the prelude? Is it 1,3,4,2 like an integra?? I need to know so we can do the adjustment tomorrow.

Thanks!!!!

Your sure...now I'm worried...look at this sight: http://www.evotuners.com/preludeva.htm It says the order is 1,2,4,3..??? Anyone with a prelude that has done it before know. I don't want to ruin my friends engine...thanks!

Really? Sweet, we should. My friend and I went to Kirkland and saw TONS of rice tonight, its funny down there. My friend has a cool GSR. Yeah, I know three people with ludes...none VTEC though two are SI's and one is an S. But they are cool guys. They all want my engine. Yeah, lets meet.

I don't go there yet. But I will be in a week
What made you think of that? Maybe we should take this to IM's, so this doesn't turn into a chat thread

Yeah, I was gonna say that it should be the same, cuase a GSR ECU will work on a Lude and hell, it wouldn't if the firing order was different!
