whats up guys, im still having tranny problems but now i have money to fix it, I just have a couple of questions before i go buying stuff and doing this and that. First of all ive decided to get another tranny since my reverse was messing up and grinding and it seems like my other gears were doing the same and making crazy noises(aint that right Stick..lol.). I also need another diff. I was wondering would an ITR or CTR lsd fit in my car(1995 gsr) I mean bolt on no mods needed? also how much am i looking into for labor wise $$$$. So im looking to put in a new tranny with a LSD either a CTR or ITR. how much labor will this cost me???

 

Yes, you can put the ITR LSD in a GSR tranny, but the case will need to be machined to fit the new unit. (I had it done in my LS tranny)

I paid about $300 to have mine installed.

 

if you get the lsd put in i can do your tranny for you.

 

Get a used ITR or CTR tranny, the gears are so muchbetter spaced than the GSR tranny. I just got one on my GSR, and wow, its such a difference, plus it already has a LSD in so u dont have to crack ur tranny open!

 

oh **** you can do tranny work turbolude, **** you the man you are about to get all of my money yo...lol.

 

I'm about to be replacing my EX tranny, is there a cheap LSD I could throw in it while I'm replacing it? I'm gonna be swapping for a B-series engine and tranny some time in the future so I don't want to dump the $ for a Quaife.
