hey i'm getting a 91 dx next week and it has the gay black center taillight thing. I want to get rid of this. I really liked my 91 tails on my 89 crx si, so i'm looking for something like that. anyways, what are my options for taillights for the hatch, besideds altezza's???

any and all 88-91 tails If i were your i would get 90-91 crx tails and take the crx sticker off. its a nice clean look.

 

i thought that the crx tails didn't fit on the hb's??? i thought they were too short? do they fit without modifications, cuz if so i'll throw mine off my si on

 

im pretty sure there the same cuz i think my friend broke his civic one and got a crx one from a junk yard and it worked

 

anybody else know if the crx tails fit the hb?

I have a stupid question...anyone know if all 88-91 hatch tail lights fit the same? Like JDM,clears,altezzas basically any kind they make for the hatchback model?

 

i think that if it fits a hb of any year or model that it will fit. I doubt that honda would change the mounting bolts and spots for different taillights. you know you want the altezza's tho! anyway, anybody have a red center piece in good condition?

 

You might be able to pick one up for cheap at a junkyard, maybe a couple of bucks at the most.

I have a set of 89 Crx si lights.

Why not just paint the tails that come on the car red?

 

because i don't have time for that and it's cold as hell over here. we just got like 10 more inches of snow today.

It takes under an hour to paint your lights and you can do it inside if its to cold

 

I think the painted center looks kinda tacky.
I like the long light bar look.
