Default Ran the Stock Crx at the Track.

I went to the strip tonite for my VERY first time.

stock 88 crx si with muffler.
My times are as follows..

1st run.

2.973
ET was 17.340
MPH. 83.814

I dropped the clutch too fast and redlined instantly..... this was my best reaction time.

2nd run.

1.184 reaction (I didn't even drop the clutch. I just went. no peeling out.
2.7
16.626 ET
85.272 mph.

Third run.

1.153 reaction. dropped it alittle from 15OO rpms.
2.44
16.292 at 84 mph.

Forth run.
1.65 reaction
2.43

16.224 at 84.98

Is this a good time? Think i could muster 16 flat? with higher rpm launch and feather the clutch better?

What kind of tires are you using and what's your suspension set up?

thats prety decent times for your setup if you ask me, 88 is the lightest, and 105hp stock instead of 108.. its pretty decent...

But if you ask other HT people, then your stock CRX Si should run 14.9 :/

ha ha, i'm using a stock suspension along with some almost bald Bridgestone all season tires. there's about 1/8th of tread left. A fellow 4G civic with 92-95 ex motor/tranny that ran 15.5 on steelies. His was a 2.3 60ft. Said he had around 125 hp. gutted hatch and adjustable struts.

You def. have some room for improvement. 2.4 60's are pretty bad, on street tires you could nail 2.2s at least and drop a get you into the high 15s.
