Where to get best HIDs?
BTW- most all of the "name brand" companies are all the same. All HID's function at 35w when warmed up. Most all name brand companies use the same brand bulb because they are all the same. If you want different HID's then you have to contact the manufactor who makes the HID's for all the main companies like Philips, etc...
As for the 3200k, 5000k, and 6000k, all kits come with the normal 3200k which is what all the cars that come with factory HID's have. If your looking for that lame purple/blue, etc... changing color like the Audi's and X5's, etc... you have to alter the light prism and projector dome to emit that varing color pattern. Ever hold a piece of crystal to the sun? Notice the color wave pattern? Then hold a normal piece of glass to the sun. Notice how the light is just light. Same concept applys to the HID setups. Its all about your projector, dome, leveling system, etc... on your car. Notice how the factory HID's projector dome has a slight grove cut into the dome of the projector? And notice how non HID projectors are just normal smooth domes.
Hope that helps.

eBay seems to be a good place to get these kits. Thanks for the help. All the balasts seem the same, but most bulbs are just random stuff. Does it even matter!?!?
What's the difference between the D2S and D2R? Sparkz has a really good deal with http://www.centerstagegroup.com for the kit shipped for $430, but it only comes in the D2R. What do you think? Thanks!
D2R bulbs were meant for reflector type housings (H1, H4 bulb types, like Prelude, Civic, Mercedes W202). Most people, however, claim that the Visions kit gives best results for D2R applications. If not, try and get the Philips Gen2 bulbs with Hella ballasts (phoenix microlite, xenonshop, hidlights all should carry them) for your projector housings.
