I am really sorry to hear that. Yea, it must be a real pain in the butt.

 

I take it you're running IIS?
You know there is a free tool out by microsoft that looks for malformed request like when a bufferoverflow is aptempted, and it will reject the request. Its pretty easy to install. Also they have another one out that kills alot of services and file associations that don't need to be running.
I took today off, I'm crossing my fingers they worked on my boxes.

Also was this the W32.Nimda.A@mm worm?

If so, anyone who visited itrca.com when it was infected now has the virus in their temp internet files, if I understand correct.

 

It's back up now.
