I just installed my Fiber Images Carbon Fiber hood and let me tell you about the fitment. On each side of the carbon fiber hood, there is a 3mm gap between the hood and the fender. Also, the front of the hood sticks up about 2mm. Also, on one side it sits low to the car like perfect; however, on the other side, it lifts up. Can u tell me any tips to make it lower. How do u adjust the hood latch. Also, how do u also adjust the stock rubber stoppers??

 

You'll need a 10mm hand wrench...their is three 10mm screws that you just loosen and then you can adjust the latch...the rubber stoppers can be adjusted my just twisting them

 

Do you mean that I can lower the hood latch??? Also, when I looked I saw two screws on the latch, one on each side, there weren't any other holes that I can make the hood latch sit lower

 

there are 3 screws, 2 on the driver side I believe. Once you loosen them, the latch can move around in all 4 directions.

 

if you loosen the three screws u can move the latch...just loosen the screws and push down the latch it should move. yeah there should be 2 on driver and 1 on passenger side

I loosened the 3 screws and pushed it all the way down but now the hood wont click down a second time, am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong w/my hood or bumper?

 

you pushed it too far down. I could only make minute adjustments on my latch, otherwise the hood wouldn't shut.

 

you have to repeatedly play with it..... took me like 4 trys to get it right
