i have a "whistler 1490 superwideband laser detector" that my friend found in his garage and gave to me. it works, it beeps and stuff, but i drove by a total of 4 cops today and it didn't do shiet! lol...i passed by them, saw them at the intersection, they drove by me. but the detector didn't do anything...anyone know why?

 

Maybe the cops did not have the radar on?

 

maybe the cops were using a frequency it didnt pick up. it is a 40 dollar detector.

never ever trust a detector. thats where i went wrong

 

same thing happened with my whistler straight **** so i ditched it for an escort

 

what kind of escort? isn't there more then one model?
