Default Guess what i installed today?

well my AEM short ram air intake came in the mail today.

i had to re-route some stuff, but it needed replaced any way. the intake is real nice. if you havnt installed one on your car yet it has to be the best thing to do to your car. theres such i big differance. it revs smoother and faster, especially at the low rpms.

go buy one now! they are fast an easy to install even if you have to re-route stuf like i had to do.

ok a simple short ram intake aint gonna do **** for your car compared to actually doing some kind of buildup.

Glad you enjoy your new intake. Some dudes can be a-holes on here. IMO I wouldn't of paid for a intake b/c the thing seems so much cost, but easy to make, but this is also coming from someone who bought a HKS intake like 2 years ago for $150.
Now I'd just get a no name tube and a good filter and call it a day.

I'm too poor to be a JDM *****, but all you others that have intellectual modifications or whatever lay off.
It may not add much power but the woot woot is worth another 5hp.

What did you have to re-route... we all have EF's here... and for every intake I have put on a Honda... well, uh.. haven't had to re-route a damn thing.

I dont know if i care so much about the horse power gain from the aem intake, but it sure did give my car a good sound, especially when i just had stock exhaust. give the guy a damn break, sometimes honda-tech sucks cuz someguy will be scared he will get made fun of on here, and thats really too bad. feel free to post whatever you want, and odnt let guys intimidate you, you have a honda and not a big block, its a start.

well I think my Greddy turbo kit is some kind of nice bolt on!! Rev soooo much smoother, without adding that it REALLY add some HP to my car, I mean not 3 hp on last 2000 rpm of the power band. Actually for HP per Dollar, a short ram intake is REALLY not a good investement and the AEM with is quite pricey tag dosn't do much better than a mendrell bent peice of muffler pipe with a K&N filter on the end.... Keep your money for a cam, a trottle body, a header, Valves spring, T retainer, clutch or Nitrous... you'll see what we mean by building up some HP, don't misunderstand me an AEM cold air intake is good for your engine but, for the price they sell it, you could have bought something way more efficient
and thank's for telling us that a cold air intake smooth your revving and all that... around here it's not new... actually club SI might want to know that tho!

Yo Benskins, after seeing through all our bashing on this "important" subject. Dont mind the opinions from other people, that's what were here to do. give our opinions on subjects which you can either accept or ignore. Feel free to post whatever you want.

I guess All im trying to say is...

hey benskins...
you have to post threads on here about JDM climate controls that dont work in your car but still looks good cause its JDM... or post threads about the nice JDM folding mirrors you just installed that dont fold in cause you dont know how to wire them, but its still cool cause now you can tell your friends you have JDM mirrors. or the rear JDM hatch glass that you installed on your "EG6" that does absolutely nothing.

Point of my post- give the guy a break. At least he spent his money on something that will make his car perform better instead of buying useless JDM crap.

JDM= another form of show. They even have a class for it at shows now.

razorku-

i had to re-route my vacum line that goes into my stock inlet-pipe

i also had to re-route my O.E. PCV breather pipe line

it was just those 2 lines, they were gonna be replaced anyway.

the ari kit came with the new lines so it was no big deal
