Default Interior Question: Rear Deck Metal Loops (covered in plastic)

may be for later 5th gens (my part. year is 2001) and is found on the rear deck right in front of the speakers. i've always wondered what they were for and assumed that they were for child seats.

here's my question: are those things welded into the chassis? or are they a superficial mount bolted into the deck?

i'll post pics for clarification later, but basically i'm getting a 4 pt harness (to help keep me from sliding around like a **** on course and break my death grip habit) and would like to know if i could use that point and the rear seat belt mounting point as the connections for the harness.

TIA

yes, they were for the child seats, and they are bolted on.

I guess they were bolted to the frame like where the speaker bolted. btw, they were called child safety seat anchors
