Default I've Got A Leak!! HELP!

When i did my motor, everything went fine. Now it has been a few weeks, and i got a leak. My friends dad owns a car shop, so we put it on a rack. It was leaking from the tranny, like where you put the half shaft into it. I am wondering if there is a seal that could have broke or what.?.?.? Any help will do. Thatnks a lot.

Yup. You might have damaged the main seal on the tranny.

Did you put in a intermediate shaft from a 90-93 integra on a hydro tranny? If so , it probably has the wrong seal!

well make sure you ahve the right axles in and the right seals at the half shafts aren't worn out and that they seal on those axles

They are like 14.90 at the acura dealership! Honda doesn't have the right one, no matter what they tell you, you have to get the one from acura for a 93 ls! That's what i did, and no leaks! I was in your same exact position!

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 92CxHatchback &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what is the procedures of installing it? just take out the half shaft and put it in or what? what kind of stuff were you leaking out of it?</TD></TR></TABLE>
The only stuff that should be leaking out of it should be tranny fluid?? Unless you gears are spilling out, lol. Yeah just take it out (shaft) Then the seal pops out with the aid of a flathead screwdriver! DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER TO PUT IT IN. Make sure that it sits flush all around! Then you should be good!
