hey guys i have a 98 d16y8 swap in my 91 civic dx. i am blowing out a 10A fuse. the one for my ecu, fuel pump, main relay, gauge assembly, engine sensors and controls, ELD, and EACV (according to repair program Mitchell on Demand), it blows as soon as i turn the ignition over. what could be the problem and where should i look? any more info you need just ask.

 

oh yeah, its the #14 fuse

 

I would start by unplugging the ecu and all of the associated sensors. Turn on the ignition and plug them in one at a time until the fuse blows. This would be the easiest way to narrow it down.

 

that or just use a piece of wire in place of the fuse and whatever starts to burn is your problem, j/k

make sure non of the wires that you spliced aren't shorting to anything.

 

can it be anything in the entire wiring harness or only the components on that circuit. where can i find a diagram of the circuit of that fuse
