I hear that a type r muffler will fit a hatch, but what exactly do you have the do to install it? is it a direct bolt on except for cutting the tip shorter. Pics would be appreciated.

how much better is a type R muffler compared to stock or aftermarket? Ive never considered this mod.

so it doesnt just bolt up to my aftermarket cat back, i have to go to a muffler shop to get it installed.

 

The Integra R muffler fits fine with lots of clearance. If you do it right, it will even fit with an Integra R rear sway bar and Beaks kit. It also flows A LOT better than an oem pea shooter. Supposively 35% better than the GSR muffler.

nice pics, so im getting mixed reviews. Does the type r axle back muffler just bolt on to the cat back piping or do i need to go to a muffler shop to get something custom made??
