OT: RSX-S stuck in snow outside my apartment.. really funny
alright, well sorry to be off topic and what not guys, but we are under a blizzard warning, and we've got anywhere from 6-8 inches on the ground now. There's a guy that lives right behind my apartment building with a nice looking RSX-S. He's got an Integra R wing on it, lowered, and got some mods. I see him beat the **** out of this thing on a regular basis.
Well, he's out there right now bouncing the car off rev-limiter trying to get out of the snow. He's got some of his buddies helping out, and it's not budging. At all. He's been stuck for atleast a half hour now, maybe more. this is amazing. He is going to blow the ******* thing up! damnit I wish I could go down there, and take his keys away from him. BAD!
(FYI: I'm not an *******, I really would be down there helping this guy out, but I've been sick all day puking everywhere, and I really don't feel like getting up and putting on warm **** just to help a guy with four friends stuck in the snow.)

my s had no problem last year in the snow with the stock tires, but this year with my ventus tires was horrible. plus i was up in vermont trying to go hills its useless i stayed an extra night until the road were almost perfect.
hell my 90 integra has no problem in deep snow. i've only gone as far as 7 inches deep, wouldn't try to drive in anything any deeper. snow tires are nice to have. although, i still think and would prefer rwd to fwd in snow. but, many people don't know how to drive rwd in snow... it is different having a well-balanced rwd car, like a MB 190 over a mustang or such.
I had no problems in my stock 2001 civic dx this morning. I think this guy got stuck trying to get into the driveway here, the snow plow must've gone by and he got stuck in that ****. OH well, it was hilarious to me.
Thats why I put my RSX-S in the garage and use my winter beater. It was buy winter tires for the S or real cheap beater. Man you got alot of snow in Ames. We didnt get much.

Could you explain how to driver a rear wheel drive car in the snow? Not being a wise *** here, seriously. I drive a rear wheel drive car and it SUCKS real bad in snow, and any FWD I have driven goes a lot better than my car.
