Integra Spindles on CRX please help
I was told that 90-93 Integra spindles fit on the CRX without any problems. I was wondering if the 94 and up will fit also. I have heard they will work if you use 90-93 Teg outer tie rods. Can someone please advise.
do a search, this has been answered a million times. you can bolt on the 94+ knuckles and hubs (spindles) but your alignment will be screwed up and not able to be fixed 100%. the DA knuckles are a better match but they will also screw up your alignment somewhat (i am running them). your best bet is to get 88-91 Civic EX sedan brakes. they are the same size as integra brakes, but will bolt up properly and not cause alignment problems.

YumVTEC,
Can you post how the DA parts affected your alignment.. and what you did to correct? Please note how much your car is lowered, and you alignment specs if known and driving impressions.
Please post info in this thread : BIG Brake upgrade, Will 91 Integra Knuckles fit a 90 DX lowered 2 inches?

Thanks,

Ok so what about the 94 & up Teg spindles. Wil they work on the CRX? I know somebody out there has done this already. Please share the info.

And not to mention the 90-91 sedan Ex kunckles are sort of "rare"
PS: Does anyone know how many 90-91 EX sedans were made, vs othr models? Curious.

When using 94 + kunckles what is screwed up by the swap? And what is not fixed 100%?

im thinking definetely camber and maybe a little caster also... the integra knuckles are longer so if you put them on a stock car it would add more positive camber... but im thinking if your car is lowered this may compensate for the added camber... and if you had a camber kit on top of that then that issue would be done with... now that i think about it caster has to be what it screws up since its not adjustable... you could get an aftermarket crossmember... i think z10 makes one with adjustable caster but not sure... also an extra bit of info... i aligned my gf's mom's 98 prelude at school and the alignment machine told me the caster adjustments were made by adding shims to the strut rods or shaving part of the bushing and tightening the bolt tighter... maybe this would work on our cars as well??
I have 90-91 integra hubs rotors caliper, uca's on my crx, and it works just fine, The brakes stop nicely even for being completely stock, and my camber is no worse than with the stock hf stuff, actually my buddy with a civic si 90, has worse camber than me, and i am all the way down on my coil over sleeves. I actually have them, and i have no complaints. I had to do this actually cuz the hf hubs are to small to fit anything in them except hf axles so i bought these for 60 bucks.
yup...i got 92 teg spindles under my car. alot of time on the allignment rack and lots of adjustable pieces made my car align right. they throw very little off and are a good upgrade since finding ex spindles is like winning the lottery.
