k i gotta make a crunch time decision...I have a mugen kit and my cars getting painted and Im debating wather or not I wanna keep the crx decal down the side...if I take it off I wanna put a mugen saide graphic but I dunno how much those cost...but anyway tell me what you think I should I do ive got mixed opnions from gaudy to good but im seriously stumped. Its authentic, and I like it but it just might be too much.

i saw the pic in the appearence forum and i wanted to throw up decals are for ricers...they make the car look like a nasa space ship or a race car and everyone knows your car prolly isnt fast even if it has a b16 and whatever

those authentic mugen decals run about 140 and are extremely rare, i think the only place that sells the authentic ones is king motorsports.

 

that decal is huge and IMO kills that crx...id lose it

 

i think you should lose it bro .. your car would be nice and clean without.

 

I personally would do something dumb like get a huge piece of tracing paper, and get an outline of the decal, so if I wanted it back, no problem. Plus than I would have the dimensions for anyone else that wanted a real mugen decal. Anyways, IMO, I would get rid of it and do exactly what I said.

I don't like decals, and you rex will look sic once you get it all one color. I do have a soft spot for the little DOHC VTEC stickers near the rear wheel well just below the center moulding or just above the bottom skirt on a black rex, only if you have one though.

don't you know that stickers will add 20 HP, and the bigger they are the more it will give. I think you gained 45 hp just from the undrag wind ratio because of that thing.


I am not too big on stickers if you can't tell. I would just take it off and if you did want to keep it I would trace it like stated above.

Lose it, you can get a decal place to cut you a new one if you change your mind.

 

Keep it. I think if I had a Mugen kit, I'd keep it. Or at least take it somewhere to get a copy of it so they can make you some new ones after you get it painted.

not to start an argument, but the dohc VTEC stickers go on the door, front half, below the molding on CRX's.. and they are pretty darn big, too.

anyway.. i say keep it..

 

It's up to you, do you want to have the decal imprinted in the paint?

 

when time for paint. if they aren't too big, i'm gonna run a 99-00 si dohc vtec stickers right in front of my rear 1/4 panels.

 

its your car, who cares what we think, if i thought a mugen decal would look good on my car upside down inverted over the gas tank lid, id put it there, i could care less what the rest of the lemmings on the import scene think.
