Default seduced by a Dodge Ram

So, my car got rear-ended three weeks ago, and it's finally in the shop now. The damage wasn't bad, just the bumper cover and the bumper support. Thankfully the unibody is fine.

In the meantime I'm driving a rented full-size Ram with a 4.7L SOHC V8.

It's a bit of an adjustment, but damn, I want to keep this thing. Drives a lot smaller than it is, and the seats are great. And a complete disregard for curbs comes in handy when parking.

If I had $32 grand to waste on a vehicle, I'd get one of these with a hemi. F a bunch of STis and EVOs.

Not to mention the fact that you can hit steep driveways with out having to slow down, and take it in the mud if you want to, and haul large objects, etc. I think everyone who doesn't own a truck at least needs access to one, just for convenience sake.

Must not have MacPherson struts but the front of those Dodges look like a Mack truck!

Aaron -who already knew that and knows that the definition of Dodge is "to avoid or go around".

Lightning isn't my thing. I've always thought fast trucks like that were stupid, since it's not going to perform as well as a proper car and you also lose the utility of having a truck.

And automatics aren't bad when you have a lot of torque.

Double A-arms in the front, live axle in the rear.

I'm not really into trucks but I bet that is pretty fun. I want a small 4wd truck just to beat the hell out of and go camping & mt. biking with. Then again, if I drove 4 hrs. to the mountains I'd want to be in an R.

****, I'm getting to the point where I'd rather have a Dodge with a Cummins turbodiesel.

I bet it would cost less to get it into the 12's than a Type R

Yeah, I'd like to take a new F150 for a test drive. I like the way they used fully-boxed frame rails on it.
