GSR FUEL PUMP???
Is there any difference between a 93 civic dx intank fuel pump and a 96 gsr intank fuel pump...Does anyone know what the they are rated at (lph)...I am asking this cause they both fuel pumps look the same so i dont know if they are the same.

Yes, they are different internally. I don't know LPH numbers, but they SOHC pump has a single pickup screw (thing that sucks) and the DOHC has a dual pickup screw.
The DOHC will deliver more fuel at a higher pressure than the SOHC.
Just go buy a 190 or 255lph walbro pump. They run about $150.

yeah i have a gsr fuel pump from a friend so its free and i just need to know if the gsr fuel pump is better cause i took my civic off and they look exactly the same so i was kinda confused...Thanks for the info
You will have to extend the fuel line a couple of inches in order to fit the 96 gsr fuel pump. I have a 97 ITR fuel pump and that's what I had to do in order to make it work on my 93 hatch. I also have another one for sale if anybody is interested.
I'll sell if to you for $75 + shipping. It came off a 97 ITR. I put it in yesterday and works great. I have and extra one that I have no need for and my stock fuel pump from a 93 cx hatch, although I think that will end up being a paper weight.
