Default need some help!

ok so i just cleaned my engine with simple green i coverd every thing but i took my battery out to get the areas around it better when i put it back in smoke started comming out wtf???????????????????
its comming from here...

it looked like it was coming from under the battrey but when i dsiconected it, it stopped

Dry everything off really good, and reconnect everything.

when washing the motor always remeber to cover the intake filter and try to avoid spraying near the distributor and the alternator

That picture you show indicates that the starter wire grounded out on your starter. I would recommend double checking the clearance between the two.(just to be safe)

Replace that torched and corroded wire before it leaves you strand3ed or worse shorts and toasts the car.
