my thought is to just buy an unsprung clutch.. its like $100 and designed by a company that made and tested clutches so less chances of failure.. i run unsprung clutch specialties clutch disk, its full disk just no no springs.

would be interesting to try IMO. but the question is how are you going to do it? you could cut out all the springs, weld on some flat steel in place of the springs to make it solid, but then how will you balance it? just my thoughts

-oem pressure plate
-oem clutch disc surface

if you can make the splines match, i have a barely worn M3 clutch disc that is unsprung...
