Will Integra parts fit my CRX?
I will be saying sayonara to my LS 'teg soon, and I wanted to know if my H&R OE Sport springs would fit on my '89 CRX Si. I also have an AEM CAI that doesn't look like it'll fit without relocating the battery. Is relocating the battery difficult (if that's what it takes to make the CAI fit), and what does it take to do this? Would I be better off selling this CAI and getting a CRX-specific one? Thanks!
it's always easier to buy car specific parts, but that can sometimes ruin the fun. if you want to try to fit the parts, but need to move the battery, just get a battery relocation kit - it comes with the cables and a box to put the battery in. it will allow you to relocte your battery all the way to the trunk (or back of car in this case). so, if you want to have the battery in the back, go for it. you also might be able to swap more of the suspension parts into the crx. try the rear disc brake setup, if the legend has it. you might also be able to switch sway bars in the front and put one in the back. i would say knock yourself out and have fun with it.
Thanks for the reply. I'm asking because I've heard ITR CAIs will fit a CRX, and I hear the LS CAI is similar to the ITR's. I just don't want to sell this thing unless there is no way it will fit. Same goes for the springs. I know some suspension pieces can be retrofitted between civic/'teg models, how about my springs? Thanks again for any help.
crxplus: Thanks for the suggestions, but the Legend is gone
The 'teg will be leaving soon too.

most of the parts from the integra will fit the crx - you may not want to get rid of that one just yet. i wasn't sure about the legend parts, but am sure about the integra parts.
Thanks again for the reply.
Can anyone confirm this? I'd like to know for sure if my AEM will fit if I buy one of these battery relocation kits. I'd also like to know for sure if the springs will also fit.
Otherwise, anyone is welcome to make me an offer for the parts.
Thanks.

if you are going to be doing all the work to change the springs and aem, then just start swapping and see if they fit. the intake you should be able to easily try to switch yourself, and if it doesn't work, then just sell it.
All I want to know is if these damn parts will fit. I know a lot of 'teg owners own 'rexes too. Hasn't this came up for anyone yet? I'm doing the CAI myself, but I cannot do the springs. I'd rather know if the intake FITS before I take the car apart - it's an old car and I'd rather not create unnecessary work for myself.
crxplus: I appreciate all your efforts, but I would like a second opinion.
