Default JDM ECU's suck

though my JDM B18c Sir-G swap was the best thing that every happend to my civic, im still being limited to its full potential. I have won alot of street races but on the highway I still win but as son a I hit my 120mph govenor tables turn. I know that the easiest thing I can do is get a P28 ECU but I was told that its best to keep my JDM ECU. I was wondering if there was a way to get my speed limiter cut other than buying a P28.

Get it chipped to remove the speed limiter. But going over 120 on our roads is nuts and is going to get someone killed. I am pretty much against street racing in general. Take it to the track. That is just my opinion though.

right on

just get a 4.7 final drive and you wont be able to go too much fast than 120mph

a friend of mine has one in his b16 tranny and 120 is his top speed in 5th, or someting like that</TD></TR></TABLE>

that doesnt do me any good cause im going toping out at 120 in 4th gear. I need a chipped ECU. I plan on getting the skunk2 Manifold but i dont know if its better to get a skunk2 P28 or try to stick wit a chipped P72.

You can have the JDM P72 chipped to remove the speed governor or get a USDM P72 which doesn't have one. I would only recommend a chipped P28 if you are using a single runner manifold like the Skunk2.

How does the skunk2 IM have ANY affect on your top speed? Seriously?

But seriously dude, doing 120 on public roads is retarded. You're going to kill someone, grow up and stop giving everyone reason to hate kids driving integras.

But to answer your question, get it chipped. Any $20 chip will take out the rev/speed limiters. Your local speedshop should be able to chip your stock ecu. But i'm not a real big fan of speedshops, so i'd just do it myself.

Once again. Grow up. Stop doing moronic speeds on public roads before you kill someone.

I can reprogram your JDM P72 ecu if you're interested. I have an excellent program to reprogram your P72 with especially if you go with a Skunk2 manifold.

hit me up via IM or email me.

see link in my sig for more info too.

Some of us are more mature than others

And i think its funny how you all are like "**** you buddy, i'll do 120 on public roads if i want to bish"

Whatever morons. When you kill someone and go to jail. I'm gonna laugh. I'm just hoping that when evolution does claim the weak, you don't take anyone that i know with you.

I think you'd view streetracing differently if you knew someone who died being an innocent bystander.
