Are you gonna get the _WHOLE_ tranny or just the _final drive_? As you probably know that the gearing is different between GS-R and ITR... so putting just a final drive on a GS-R tranny will yield different rpm speed. (probably lower rpm speeds than ITR on all gears.)

FYI - ITR tranny allows ITR to hit ~100mph @ 5,600-5,700 rpm (ITR VTEC x-over) using the 5th gear. So, as long as you don't speed over 100mph in 5th, you're find on the freeway. But, doesn't GS-R has a VTEC cross-over at 4,400 rpm?

berkel on h-t.com has a JDM ITR final drive in his GSR . . . but then again, i think he has the USDM ITR tranny, but i'm not sure.

either way, i believe he said at 80mph his RPMs were about 4900.
