Tests on PO have shown K&N to be a very good filter.....Do you have prodrive pump gears? The honda filter tested bad, the new ones tested even worse....Since K&N are gods among filters youd think that they would make a good one....

Ditto!
I don't think it's the filter.

ok, heres the update, i changed the oil only on the car again, start up and oil pressure is fine, light goes out and all
now this time i changed the oil and the i replaced the honda oil filter (a) with another new honda oil filter (b), when i start the car the oil light stays on. I disconnected the distributor wire and cranked the motor a couple times to build up oil pressure. when i started the car oil light stayed on.
i put back the honda oil filter (a) i had on before and started the car and within seconds the oil light went out.
ok so i say to myself maybe i put on the filter wrong somehow. i put back on honda oil filter (b) again, cranked motor to build oil pressure, start the car and again the oil light will stay on.
again i went back to the honda oil filter (a) and cranked motor to build oil pressure and as soon as i started the car, couple seconds later the oil light goes out like it supposed to
when i had all the oil filters off the car on the table the original oil filter and the honda oil filter (a) had some weight to it like oil was flowing through them.
the k&n oil filter and the honda oil filter (b) had no weight to them like oil was not flowing through them
how could this be??, or is it that i know how to change oil but i don't know how to change an oil filter.
I thought that with the relocation kit and the additional oil cooler, maybe to need alittle more time the build pressure in order to get out air bubbles in the lines
could it be that the k&n oil filter and some of the honda oil filters might not work on my car because my lude is a picky piece of sxxt?

hmm.. this is really weird... i just had almost the same thing happen to my head... and i just put on my JRSC... beside the fact that i snapped my timing belt, the mechanic found that the camshafts were grinding down the head, most probably because there was a lack of oil pressure.... my oil light never came on.... but it only turns on when there less than 2psi... or something really really low like that.....
I also run a K&N oil filter... but i havent had any problems with it.... never really suspected that it may be the culprit... hmm.... any new findings on this?
