info on mini swap 88 crx si /d16y8 long block

just want some info about the part i need to do a mini swap on my 88 crx si i got a d16y8 long block from a 96 civic and im not sure if i need to rewire the ecu harness and if i can use the crx distributor and what do i need to buy i know i need a vtec controller thanks in advance

I recomend doing the full OBD 1 conversion.
P28 ecu
OBD 1 conversion harness(not needed but makes it real easy)
4 wire 02 sensor
obd 1 dist

DO it the right way and stay away from switch activated vtec.
