Kind of an old thread but I wanted to let u know that both of your above statements are WRONG. The mains are lubbed by the oil moving through the oil passages inside the block, not magic. And NOT all honda blocks have girdles. Don;t spread bullshit around this board please.

Late 80's preludes were using the 95mm stroke cranks and those motors used a full five bolt main girdle. I think those were B series blocks but I'm not sure.
