2 questions,

1. Can the odometer and trip-o-meter (sp? ) off the JDM cluster be swapped with a USDM one? Like having a JDM cluster read in miles.

2. Can the tachometer off a JDM cluster be swapped with a USDM one?

Anyone done any of these swaps? Care to share your experiences? TIA.

 

i believe so b/c i see many " jdm" clusters go on ebay that have already had the tach or speedo removed for a usdm component, though i don't have any experience with it

 

^hmm that's a good thought, i wouldn't mind having the JDM tach and not give up my mph for kph.

Dont think the redline for the Sir is that same as my LX. What I meant for JDM cluster was I meant the cluster out of an Sir. Sorry for the confusion.

 

i've got one and have been contemplating this exact quandry. my issue isn't reading in km/h, it's getting the odometer to roll in miles instead of kilometers. (basically, i want to switch the faces of the km/h and the mph speedos, which is impossible)
