Stock parts with the exception of cams and springs of course.

It's not that hard to believe. Video documentary will be up soon I think.

Yep, it's real.

Bert-O supplied the 81.00mm P30 pistons and rings among other things.

Cams and springs and retainers were aftermarket tough.

Some video footage should be available soon of the build and dyno pulls.

Pulls were made at CAT's dyno too.

the head was hardly even done. I think it only had a valve job and minor cleaning...

It still doesn't have that much work put into it, imagine what it's capable of with different pistons and what not.

I dunno....220 whp on a near stock head? In order for the B16 to take advantage of larger cams, they must have a bump in compression. This is especially true if the volumetric efficieny is good, which it is due to the B16's r/s ratio. A full Portflow may support 200 whp on stock compression, but damn....that's really good. Just don't know whether to believe it or not....

Very surprising that people still have no clue about this, but to me it was huge so I followed it the whole way. Maybe I'm a loser...?

no you are not a loser....

cuz i for one really don't believe it...NOT WITHOUT MAD HEADWORK AND MAD COMPRESSION....if it is 13.x plus then yes it is believable...and even without CTR pistons kinda unbelievable....but hey that's just my opinion

i will not believe it until i see it!

what's so hard to believe? We made 180whp with a stock b16a with JUN3's and jun valvetrain. All that was done was took out the old cams, springs, cam gears, and retainers and put the new ones in. After a couple hours on the dyno with the vafc, 180 was reached

One of my friends had the same set up with a ITR plenum and throttle body. Everything else with the exception of the cams, springs, retainers, and cam gears (set at zero). He got 179hwp with no tuning whatsoever.

<<<Another person wondering what is so hard to believe.

I ran a 13.4 with my B16 in a CRX at a track over 2000 feet above sea level. Does that mean I am close to 200 whp?
