Just get the h22 and call it a day.
Boost/nitrous is your only other option
NaWzzzz yO!
also, if you are wondering about the "mean" people on this site. In the 18 days you have been here, you have lost 4% and no longer have avatars. It's probably not be the people on this site, its probably you.

See the reason I dont know about the H22 is I have a 4 door accord. Which is heavy and I would hate to put all that money in getting the swap and a 5 speed tranny. Then get beat by a integra type R. Im all about racing its just my accord is an auto an has not left me with much confidence in it.

All we're trying to tell you is learn how to use this site to do research. Don't post without having done some research on the topic first, because you probably won't end up posting after finding the answer on your own. The search feature on the site is very useful for answering questions like the one you presented in this post. If you ask redundant questions like the one here, you'll keep getting flamed.

a turbo will still cost you some coin and you may still get beat by a Type R. the only cheap wasy is nitrous and even still max on the track you should run is a 75 shot which with an auto tranny still may not be enough to take a Type R.
anyways, there are not many Type Rs around and most wouldn't not mess with an accord so whocares. if you do by chance meet and they are cool and you give them a good run they will throw you a thumbs up and give you mad props anyways which still pretty cool. real tuners respect a fast sleeper accord.

My friend has a Type R and I dont like getting beat so I need to try to find one of them. I like the accord it is a great car. But I want to have a drag car or just a street racing monster. I also have a friend with a turbo eclipse and I dont want to have to lose to him either. I mean I can beat alot of 4 cyl but I cant beat most. I got killed by my friends 2001 or newer civic. That really turned me off to the accord. I think mainly its the weight that kills the accord though.

1) Don't street race.
2) The accord is a family car, and It will take lots of $$$ to approach the performance of an ITR. If you want ITR performance, sell the accord, get a hatch and throw a b18c in there.

I want some HP to beat some V8's. I got beat by my friends crown vic. That was embarassing. How much Hp would it take to beat a mustang. With the weight difference. Like if a 2003 mustang had 300 Hp and the 95 accord had 250 Hp with the lighter weight make the difference.

it would probably take 250whp plus being able to drive. the problem is the cost is totally not worth it. a new mustang runs low 14s stock. a h22 swap will get you high 14s. if go turbo f22 you will need to build the motor to run enough boost to run low 14s reliably. either way get ready to spend money. if you want to go fast you have the wrong car, especially w/ a 4dr EX.

#1) Don't worry about the people on here, they have just heard too much of the same thing, and can't deal with answering the same stuff over and over. But I urge you to use the search function as they said, about every topic has been covered, so it'll save YOU some time in the long run.
#2)DO NOT street race. Either grow up and do it where it's legal, or don't do it at all.
#3)If you want your accord to be fast, truly fast, save up $10,000, then come talk to me.

Could you get me in going in the right direction. Becuase I dont plan on keeping the accord for another 2 years. I will get something new. I just want to be able to run with the big boys I used to have a 87 GT Stang and that thing had plenty of pwr. But I have a love for hondas I really dont like anything american made.
