Anybody repaint their Spoon calipers?
I dont like the appearance of the "smurf" blue color the caliper has. If anybody can give me advice/tips on recoating it with another color. Guide me to specific paint products.
I like to have a charcoal black color.

i like the "smurf blue".... but i am very interested to see what they might look like in another color.... if anything i would go with a black.... maybe a red but probably not
Red would look VERY NICE on a CW ITR (that it for some billet tyype calipers).
However, on the other hand it looks downright shoddy when I see painted stock calipers. Hmmmm ...

Naw, you pay for a direct replacement/light weight/4-pot caliper that fits under the stock wheels and with the stock OEM rotors!
I might have them anodized red once they need to be taken apart and rebuilt ... one of these days.

i have the smurf brakes also, but i don't plan on painting it. but imo if you don't like the color isn't there any other calibers you could buy and cheaper that would give you the same performance? ex. brembo? or is spoon calipers the best calipers you could get for the price?
this is just my .02
