My Calipers are Rusted... Help me!

Well anyways my passenger side caliper is rusted like the whole thing looks rusted up.... Do I need to order an replacesment... or does it even matter? Please help me

they will fall off in 2 weeks if you don't paint them yellow

No, you don't have to buy a new one, surface rust is fine.

I thought you were going to say it rusted up and won't move. It stops the car doesn't it? Or just go to autozone or something and get the high temp paint and paint em.

word, just paint them ricey red or if you want it to look nice, paint them gold or flat black them.

You need some comon sense before you ask questions. I haven't seen a caliper that hasn't rusted.

Mine aren't rusted (very much)... yet...

But I do have perma-brake dust all over my rims...

Has the caliper rusted in such a way that it affects performance or are you talking about surface rust?

If it is just surface rust, paint the calipers if it bothers you.

guys, I didn't drive the car in 2 weeks and I have rust on my rotors, should I change the hub and the rotor? I think the rust ate away my hub and bearing too.

OK, here's my solution:

Folia Tec brake caliper paint and Eastwood Co. high temp paint for the rotor hats.

I like it! Did you just spray the whole rotor and let the rest of the paint wear off, or did you do something like tape it off.
