Anyone know if the lsd that Hmotors offers for the extra $300 is good? Know what kind of LSD it is?

 

Its the LSD that comes with the motor stock.

Yup. They just give you the OEM LSD Transmission. I would think it would hold it's own. Anything other than Phantom Grip is okay with me.

 

So what if you dont get the LSD your not getting the stock tranny?

 

no, then you're getting the stock tranny that came without the lsd. like the sir2, some came with lsd, some did not.

LSDs are highly beneficial in all forms of racing., if that's your intended purpose. I didn't have one in my s1 with the B16 and I didn't care, for a street car.

Definitely get the LSD. Otherwise, you can be like me and later on upgrade your motor for more horsepower only to realize that you lost so much grip that you now need to pay 800-1000 dollars for a good aftermarket one.
