Default 00 s2k, red, 11k miles clean title for 22k worth it?

is this deal worth it? coming from a honda dealer... Let me know guys because Im thinking about getting it... Are there many differences between the 2000, and 2001 S2ks? I know there is a lot of minor differences between the 00 and the 03 but thats out of my price range.. Let me know what you guys think.

only 11k for a 00 is pretty damn good. If I had 22k I would definatly get it, but try to bring them down to 21,000.

good luck, btw what color?

21,800 is the lowest they will go... I am not quite sure if there is tax with that? buying a used car from the honda dealer... do we get charged tax like we do if we bought a new car from them? by the way its a red color one..

You'll get charged state sales tax rate. I wouldn't personally pay much more than $20k for that. There is an '02 with similar mileage on ebay right now with a buy it now of $22,500.

So back to my original post.. that car beign 21800 before tax and after tax it will come out to around 24k? well i would like more suggestions..

you will still have to pay DMV registration and sales tax, reguardless if it is a private party sale or dealer sale. the car will not be 21,800, it will be 21,800+sales tax (~$1600)+ dmv registration (~$450)

and by the way, let the people know that this is a hard time to get rid of an s2000.. winter, rain, rwd sports coupe. S2000 values will be roughly the same (due to devaluation) or worth more in the summer of next year than as of the current time. While that price of 21,800 is reasonable, I would settle for a lower price. My friend just bought an 02 from the dealer for 26.9 out the door... 02 with 100k warranty and 13k miles (and we know that dealers rip you off). Keep in mind the 02 has revised suspension, interior, and a glass top.

thanks for the info... I will pass up this deal and look for more... I found an 03 with 14k miles.. silver.. going for 26,893 also before tax and license from a used dealership... how does this one compare to the first one? is this better or the last deal?

keep looking, you'll find a better deal. Check forums.s2ki.com and look in the car for sale thread there. They'll point you in the right direction and they also have several cars for sale.
