make sure your anti-freeze is ok, make sure you use 50/50 mix so it doesn't freeze. i switch to 5w-30 oil for winter. get some snow tires. make sure to keep the car as clean as you can, road salt. even if it gets dirty the next day, get the salt off the car and out of all the hidden areas.

Also if you haven't done a radiator flush, do it.....it will help out in the long run. Also now is a good time to see if your heater works and temp gauge works (thermostat) do a check of all pumps hoses and belt, nothing is worse than being assed-out on the side of the road due to a blown radiator hose. If any of your hoses look "weathered" or cracked but not all the way through, replace them just because its a good idea, they will burst open soon, and they are cheap to replace. Make sure your tires are rotated and have good pressure and balanced and make sure you have a ice scraper in your car along with a blanket and water. ya never know.

Its a very good ifear too switch to 5w-30 motor oil unless your an FI car. Just makes sure the car is warmed up before you commence beating on it.

Warming up the car is a waste of time and fuel. Warms up much faster driving, just take it easy on the throttle until it's fully warmed up and your good to go.

i guess the techical term is driving under light load, but if you live in place where is snow like a ****, i suggest give it a time before "getting on it"

very important is, try to keep your gas tank pretty full all the time, cuz with the cold it cause condensation on the inside of the tank which is something you don't want with the freezing temps.

the 5w-30 is to protect on cold starts. 10w-30 is only good to 20 degrees. it was 14 at my house this morning.

eddie brings up a very good pint, don't run your gas low during the winter. also when you have those mornings it goes from 40 to 60-70 by noontime, that causes condensation too. so this is actually good advice throughtout the year unless your running it low to race. also all the nasty swill stays at the bottom of the tank and it can be bad for your fuel pump too.

Edddie is right about keeping the gas tank full, but i have to do that all year round(255lph fuel pump will burn up if it gets low on fuel)

As for the motor oil KGAccord is right, i just use the thicker 20W 50 for boost.

The pump always picks up from the bottom even when the tank's full.

I wouldn't really suggest coming onto a HONDA forum and trash them, and there are plenty of cars on here that would beat up on your DUB...and next time use spell check.
