Well, i tried a search, and found nothing, but was curious about which dizzy's will work on a civic cx minime, using a jdm d15b vtec head. I know that the write-up says hes using a z6 dizzy, but will any other work? I would like to know, so i know what junkyards to hit up. Thanx.

 

sometimes the other obd1 dist will work but you will have to cut off 1 or sometimes 2 legs

 

i think vtec distributer is a must.

just call up an autoparts and ask if theres a difference between vtec and non-vtec.

 

alright, will do, but i remember when doing my minime, (this is a buddys car), on my crx, i had to chop up the mounts on my stock dizzy to use on my z6 head. If thats the only problem, i kno wways around that, so is it just fitment, or is there some other reason?

 

i ran a d15b7 with y8 head and non vtec dizzy. i had no problems with it.
