Default APEX-I N1

I just had a universal 2.5" cat-back exhaust installed. The pipe is fitted into a universal Apex-i N1 muffler. It is a little loud for me, my question is: If i install a silencer will it change the sound while quiting the muffler? If this will not work might any one be interested in the custom cat back w/ Apex-i N1?

catback with silencer=0.00105hp gain compare to stock exhaust system.

invest in a 18 or 22 inch resonator instead

as iam7head already said, try some resonators...if not, then try getting a new muffler...no need to waste a good exhaust because of the muffler...
