I just recently had a shop install JDM fogs on my car. I want to get the US switch holder so it looks nicer. Is it true that I have to get a new button, switch plug as well to make it work? Why cant I just put the button in the US switch holder since the buttons are the same size? Also i want to install hyper whites and have H3 bulbs. I heard that the jdm size is h3c and I need to soder something off. Vtec.net has had instructions but the links the the pictures are not working so im not sure how to do it. How do I do this? and what is a reasonable price for foglight install. I think these guys jacked me cuz i ended up paying 130 for the install...

Hey man, I followed the instructions here and it took me about 2-3 hours:

It talks about soldering the bulbs for H3 bulbs as well, but I ended up buying the H3c Koito ones. I'm using the Japanese switch box, with the brightness adjustor removed. Hope this helps.

 

Man just buy the JDM version "hyper whites'
run the same cost.
I assume they rigged up the JDM lights to the stock Positive & Negative wires?
