Default Installed Magnaflow catback today

Installed catback today. Must say it is a VERY good system for the money. The tone is deep, not raspy, and inside the car the tone is normal. Get on the gas and it sounds great. And it bolts up great, with no problems.

This is the pic of the resonator

Woohoo, another Magnaflow customer happy. Just goes to show that for $300 you can get a quality setup. Not that the others (Greddy, Apexi, Spoon, RSR, etc.) aren't good but they are all at least $450 and up. Can't hardly get a custom setup for $300, let alone a full stainless cat back like the Magnaflow.

Definatly post pics/vids if you can. We want to see and hear.

I bought the Magnaflow and I think it's great. It can get pretty loud at 80mph on the highway though. I have turn up the stereo a good bit to hear over it, but around town it's not too bad. I'm very happy with it, and for the price you can't beat it.

I wont have any vids but will try to get some pics. I bought it off of eBay for a guy for $150.
I went out and bought two gaskets and two bolts for the back. The hardest part was getting the nuts off of the cat. But the trusty ol breaker bar broke them..

It bolts up great, Because I have read so many systems vibrating and having to bent the brackets.

Well I cant compare it to say the NI or Tsudo. Those are loud. I hav'nt heard the greddy or Apexi. TwistedSi has the sound clip of his. Mine sounds just like it and the pic is the same. He is the one where I got the idea to get mine. to TwistedSi

magnaflow customer s can definitly say they got their money s worth..u can get the same performance and looks at the fraction of the price

unlike a few JDM exhaust systems that cost mucho$$$ and the performance is just marginal with the louder sound giving the impression of higher gains..it makes them feel they really need to defend that additional expense

I am thinking about getting a magnaflow exhaust for my wifes EH sometime soon...

First of all, was the system you bought used? You said you got it for $150! That seems really really cheap... I haven't seen them new on ebay for under $250.

How is the quality and fitment? From what I have heard magnaflow makes a great exhaust and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

I can't wait to see the pics!

I liked mine until after the snow storm here in the east....

It moved over when it hit snow on the roads and melted my friggen bumper ...

The tip and the can look SOOOOOO lame... it makes me want to put a sticker above it that says...

"I know it's lame"

It's a good exhaust though... not raspy or farty like most canister exhausts... a pretty nice deep tone... a little too loud for me but I'm a *****... Overall it would be the best exhaust in the world if it didn't have that pootarded tip and polished can...

AND THERE'S NO WAY to remove the 18" tip...

I can't believe you are molesting your car with some CHEAP-O catback. You might as well went to a exhaust shop and got them to crush bend you an exhaust.

Ok then. What's so Cheap-O about the exhaust besides the price? Which is damn cheap compared to most on the market. If you've ever read TwistedSI's post when he first got his you will find out that the quality of the exhaust is top notch. And come on, crush bent? Give me a break.
